AIHL 2009/2010 Season Teams Gearing Up!

AIHL, American Inline Hockey League’s second season is just around the corner and the tryout info for various teams is already out. Or if you want to enter a team into this premier inline hockey league they are accepting applications up to August 15th, 2009. Suffolk Sharks:
The Suffolk Sharks will be returning to the AIHL for the 2009-2010 season. In their first season the Sharks Elite finished 21-10-0-1 while the Minors went 15-15-0-2.

The cost for tryouts will be $40 which covers all three sessions.

Georgia Syndicate:
What: Try-out dates for our two teams (Major – with players 18 and older and Minor – with players 16 and older) entering its 2nd Season in the American Inline Hockey League. All players must come to try-outs – no roster spots are being held over from last year!

When:
Sunday, September 13th
3:00pm Informational Meeting for all
3:30 pm Register for try-out and complete all necessary paperwork
4:00 pm – 6:00pm Combined try out for both teams

Sunday, September 20th
2:00pm Informational Meeting for the players who weren’t at the first try out
2:30 pm Register for try out and complete all necessary paperwork
3:00 pm – 5:00pm Combined try-out for both teams

Where: SGAA Dual Deck Arena; 2015 McGee Road; Snellville, GA 30078

Important Information:

- Proof of Age (Bring drivers license, passport, or birth certificate)
- Try-out fee is a total of $40.00 for both sessions
- The Informational meeting will answer all questions (player costs, length of season, player eligibility, team parameters, player requirements, how much travel, and etc….)
- Must have your 2009-2010 AAU Membership Card with you
- Recommended (but not mandatory) to attend all sessions; players may be cut at anytime
- Full equipment required (there will be drills and scrimmages)
- Bring a white & a dark jersey
- Bring a water bottle

Hartfor Fireants:
Hartford Fireants will be holding tryouts for their 2009-2010 AIHL Season Saturday August 22, 2009 and Sunday August 30, 2009. The following are the details:

First Tryout:
Saturday August 22, 2009
10:00am-12:00pm (rink time)

Second Tryout:
Sunday August 30, 2009
11:00am-1:00pm (rink time)

All tryouts will be held at Zrink- 259 Eastern Boulevard, Glastonbury, CT.

Fees:
New Players: $50
Returning Players: $25

Eat Bay Jawz:
The East Bay Jawz will be returning to the AIHL’s Pacific North division for the upcoming 2009-2010 season. Try-Outs will be held August 23rd from 10am-1pm.

The cost for tryouts will be $35 for new players, $20 for returning players.

Players are asked to bring a black and white jersey and arrive at least 30 minutes prior to try-outs.

Garden State Savage Wolves:
The Garden State Savage Wolves will be holding their 2nd Tryout Camp on Saturday August 15, 2009 at Inman Sports Club in Edison, New Jersey from 10:00am – 1pm, cost is $20 per player. The camp is open to all players over the age of 17. Players are asked to please bring a white, a red and a black jersey and arrive no later than 9:00am. Players attending the camp will be trying out for the 2009-2010 AIHL Garden State Savage Wolves Elite and Minor teams.

New Jersey Nightmare:
The New Jersey Nightmare will be holding their first tryout for the 2009/2010 season on August 22nd at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees NJ. Tryouts begin promptly at 1:00pm and will end at 3:00pm. Please arrive early to register. New players $50.00 and returning players $25.00.

Maryland Knights:
The Maryland Knights have posted Tryout dates for the upcoming AIHL 2009/2010 season. Rosters will be posted by 1 Sept 2009.

Dates/Times:
13 August 2009, 6:00-7:00P off-court evals/warmups, 7:00-9:00P On-court
27 August 2009, 7:00-8:00P off-court evals/warmups, 8:00-9:00P On-court

NOTE – ALL players are required to fulfill off-court eval prior to on-court tryout. Off-court Eval only required once. Players should plan for evals by bringing appropriate athletic gear.
