Minor Preview
The Surge and Gladiators are both looking for their first wins of the young season in this series. Last week both teams scored only two goals total. Alex Fey scored the only two goals for the Surge, while Jim McGroarty and Ryan Caton scored for the Glads. This series is a complete crap shoot for predictions and should be a great test for both clubs
Elite Preview
Again in this matchup both teams are in search of their first wins of the season. The Surge lost two great games to the Nightmare, while the Gladiators were beat up a bit in Wallington against a strong Grizzlies team who was missing a few key players. Both teams should get stronger as the season progresses and this series is good timing for which ever team takes advantage of the situation. The Surge’s Chris Havelock needs to be more effective than he was last week for his team to win games and the same could be said about the Gladiators Dante Natale. The Gladiators found themselves in a good fight with the Grizzlies in game one, but eventually came unraveled against a tough opponent. The Gladiators have an abundance of talent in players like Matt Grabert, John Bright, Sonny Ciocco, and especially Tim Saraceni. The edge should go to them in their home rink if all their players are there.
