Minor Preview
The Northern California Mustangs minor program has had a bit of an overhaul this offseason. New players Aron Qualas, Kevin Brenton, Lionel Calisto, Joe Kubani, Jimmy Guilfoyle, Sam Poyer, CJ Mendoza, Scott Barrow and Alex Sherin join forces with a solid group of returners in Michael James, Ronny Romano, Cole Morley, Jordan Strohmeyer, Mitch Gallagher, Anthony Capriccio and Chip Shirek. Having missed out on the playoffs last season, the Mustangs will need to perform well in a tough Pacific North Division. The Mustangs minor team showed their ability to compete in a Pacific North preseason jamboree as they played every opponent close.
The Oakland Goodlife minors have completely re-tooled after taking a year off. Expect this team to battle for a playoff spot behind goaltender Jay Brown who was very impressive during the preseason jamboree.
