The Detroit Revolution have made some major changes to it’s organizational structure as well as it’s roster for the remainder of he 2010-2011 PIHA season. Among those changes are the announcement of a new home facility, Joe Dumars Fieldhouse. Located in Shelby Township, Michigan. Joe Dumars houses the largest inline hockey program in the State of Michigan, the Little Caesars Roller Hockey Program.
The Detroit Revolution made this move in hopes of giving their players the best possible playing experience they could, and believed that with the administrative changes and facility change, the Revolution teams would be better suited for competition. Poor relations between RHSSA and The Revolution ocurred and resulted in RHSSA breaking the contract agreed to, which then prompted the Revolution to terminate the contract. The Detroit Revolution will be hosting all of their home games for AIHL and PIHA at Joe Dumars from this point forward.
Also with the changes is the release of Vinny Discristofaro and Justin Eagle from The Detroit Revolution. Their participation with the Revolution has been a very positive experience for all involed, and their depature is truly a sad loss for the team.
