First Annual ECHO Invitational in Weston, FL on February 4-6, 2011

ECHO Hockey is hosting the First Annual ECHO Invitational in Weston, Fl on February 4-6, 2011.  Age groups include 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, Middle School, High School, Women’s Division(age 14 and older) and 3 Adults Divisions(Beginners, Intermediate and Open-Advanced).  4 game gaurantee for all teams.  Cost is #250 for 6U, $300 for 8U, $450 for 10U-High School Divisions and $550 for Adult teams, including the Women’s Division..  Awards given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams in 8U-High School.  Individual Awards also awarded.  Cash Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place team finishers in ALL Adult Divisions.  Raffles all weekend long.  A minimum of 4 teams is needed to make a division.  If necessary a Gold and Silver Level will be set up for each division.  No real early and real late games planned.  We will finish by 10:00 P.M. and start no earlier than 9:00 A.M. each day.

Middle School and High School Eligibility:  Players have to play for their Middle School and High School Team.  If a player’s school does not have a school team, he can join as a free agent on a pre-existing school team.  Only 1 free agent is allowed on an existing team.  Schools that do not have enough players to field a full team can also combine with another school that does not have enough players for their own team.  If a player’s school has a team that is playing, they have to play for their school team.

The Weston Tournament will use block scheduling.  All age groups/divisions will start and finish in one day unless there are too many teams to do so in a division.  We will not know that until we get closer to the tournament.
