Grizzlies Stay Hot In Cold Pottstown

With Coach Denis Jelcic battling flu like symptoms it was Assistant Coach Bob Fulton that would take over the duties behind the Grizzlies bench.  “It’s always good to have two of us back behind the bench, but with Denis sick, I needed to be on top of my game” says Coach Bob Fulton.  The Grizzlies would walk into the 422 rink and take both wins from the Raleigh Dragons.

Game 1 would be a rout while Game 2 the Grizzlies would squeak out a 3-2 Win.  The Grizzlies would score 10 goals and win 10-1, with Robbie Fulton trying to be a hero in the winding seconds giving the Dragons their lone goal.  “Well, he was trying to be a hero, so we gave up the shutout” sys Coach Bob Fulton.  The Grizzlies would get 2 goals from Jim Redstreake, Matt Grossi, who has recently begun to shoot the puck, Robbie Fulton, and Chris Wolf, while JJ Fichter and Tim Fulton chipped in one each.  James Manganaro would chip in with 4 assists to lead the team on the day(5 total in two games).  Robbie Fulton would add in 4 assists in game 1(5 total on the day), Timmie Fulton would add in 2 in the first game(3 total for the day), Matt Grossi would throw 3 assists on his way to 4 for the day, Jim Redstreake had one lonely helper.  A great surprise was minor goaltender Ryan Wolf coming in for 2 Pro Wins, and being a Robbie Fulton turnover away from having a Pro Shutout.
The Grizzlies find themselves at 15-3-2(32 points) and with 4 games left in the regular season await the arrival of division rival Harrisburg Lunatics on December 18 at ISCA, 6:30pm start for Minor.  “We are excited where we are right now, but the tough point of the season is coming, so lets hope for the best” says Co-Captain James Manganaro.
