As seen on ESPN3, the AIHL Final extraveganva was a terrific match up and in the end the 2009-2010 champions are the HB Elite. The 495ers held their own in the first period, who at one point had a 2-1 lead. It was a crucial couple of minutes in the second that would determine the outcome of the game, when the 495ers took two penalties in a short span. HB wasted no time scoring on both the 4 on 2 and then two more quick goals as they road the momentum. In the end the Huntington Beach Elite hoisted the cup and are now the envy of the AIHL.
