Opened in 2001, KPCC is Hong Kong’s first and only centre dedicated to X-treme sports.
KPCC has Hong Kong’s only professionally built Inline Hockey Rink for showcasing the “Coolest Game on Wheels” and the fast growing sport in Asia – Inline Hockey; also home to Hong Kong’s highest Climbing Wall KPCC caters to a large range of tastes and activities.
Add in 3 Tennis Courts, a Basketball Court, fully stocked equipment Pro Shop, a Function Room, Changing Rooms and BBQ facilities and you have a complete center for recreation.
The YMCA Inline Hockey program aspires for each player to have an improved sense of personal well being, a more complete understanding of what constitutes fair play and an increased capacity to participate in society as responsible citizens. The following goals help move toward these aspirations:

Within the rules of the game, we desire to train our players to be competent and our teams to be competitive. Thus, to the best of our abilities and resources to nurture such competency, and train up and teams to compete on the international level.
Hong Kong Youth Leagues
Our coaches work with youth ages 8 to 18 in our youth leagues, school programs and hockey camps.
YMCA of Hong Kong – KPCC Inline Hockey Coach
The incumbent will be responsible to work under the Project Guidelines of the YMCA YPACT (Partnership for Athletes Character Transformation) through developing, implementing & evaluating the growth of athletes in the sport of Inline Hockey for King’s Park Centenary Centre. Major activities will include but not limited to:
Organize, deliver & manage local Inline Hockey tournaments & leagues; assist in the selection for National Team players & coaches
Develop opportunities for players both domestically and internationally; improve their performance
Liaise between Hong Kong China Inline Hockey Association, Hong Kong Federation of Roller Sports, government bodies & schools on behalf of YMCA of Hong Kong
Identify sports, recreation & health initiatives and oversee the implementation of strategic plans. Manage resources & budget, maintain database and produce re- ports.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Degree/Associate Degree in Business Administration or other sports related discipline with at least 3 years’ relevant working experience – 1-2 years Hockey coaching experience (Ice or Inline) with relevant coaching qualification/training certificate. First Aid qualification is preferred.
- Conversance in both spoken & written English. Strong leadership with excellent communication & interpersonal skills – Hands on knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint – High energy and be willing to work on shifts, on weekends & Public Holidays
