USA Hockey Degree Free Jersey Program Sells Out In 42 Minutes!
On April 1, 2010, USA Hockey launched the Degree Youth Jersey Program to ice and inline member associations. In only 42 minutes, the 90,000 jerseys Degree provided free for 7&8, 9&10, and 11&12 year old house/recreational league teams were gone! There were 14 lucky inline hockey programs that were able to get in and place an order before the jerseys ran out.
No one expected such a fast sellout and it is a great start with our newest sponsor Unilever USA as they help reduce costs for our young players and their families.
The jerseys are co-branded with the USA Hockey and the Degree logo and come in one-color sets of 17. Each league had the choice of either boys or girls jerseys and a choice of 6 different colors.
The program was a huge success and will once again go on next year around the same time. Check out the website here to read more about the program.
