An incredible division this weekend saw 8 of the world’s best roller hockey teams battle for a $10,000 purse. Check out Doug Jones’ blog to see how everyone got to the playoffs. The final ended up featuring the top 2 seeds in the Pama Cyclones and Tour Mudcats. This game had a little bit of everything: great defense, amazing saves, and ridiculously sick goals. Both teams traded off goals to start, as the Mudcats got on the board first, and Pama answering back moments later. A few more goals for each team saw the score tied at 3. That’s when Itan Chavira took a wrist shot from the top of the circle, finding the upper left corner of the net, in the 6 inch space that he had to shoot at. An amazing flurry by the Mudcats in the last few minutes looked like it would tie the score up, but Troy Redmann kept every puck in front of him, and the Cyclones ended up winning their 2nd NARCh title this year. Redmann ended up as the top goalie, and first time high scorer in Pro was Josh Laricchia of the Mudcats.
