Both teams have now officially released tryouts and will be back to the PIHA for the 2009-2010 season. These two teams are the only original teams left in the league and have a huge rivalry. The typhoon are three time founders cup champions. However, in recent years they have struggled to make the playoffs without CJ Yoder, Brian Yingling, and supporting cast in the line up. They have been in the rebuilding stages the past couple seasons and hope to really bring something back to the rink this upcoming season! The lunatics have yet to win a founders cup. However, they have been the Mason Dixon division champs the past three years with a very strong line up including players Jay Mazer, Scott Miller, Kevin Hollenbush, and Scott Gartzke who was the number four scoring leader in all of PIHA last year.

Tryout information for the Harrisburg Lunatics are as followed:

Monday August 24 from 7pm to 10pm at the Susquehanna Sports Center in Lemoyne PA

Saturday August 29 from 9:30am to 12:30pm at the Susquehanna Sports Center in Lemoyne PA

Tryout fees are $50 per player before the end of August 20, $60 After.  For Lunatics who played during the 2009 season, tryout fees are $30 per player before the end of August 20, $60 after.
