The Mission Axiom showed everyone once again how good they are in 2011 – 2012 as they went perfect again for the second consecutive weekend. The Axiom defeated the Anaheim Bullfrogs in the final four and half minutes by scoring three unanswered goals as Tom Tyler continued his scoring tear on MLRH as he would net a pair of goals and then see Aaron Moss and Raf Rodriguez add tallies. In the televised game on Rollerhockeytv.net, Mission would shut out the Arizona Arsenal 4 – 0.
The Anaheim Bullfrogs showed life and success with the naming and having Jay Russell on the bench as they played a much disciplined game against the Axiom, but fell short, losing 5 – 2. The additions of Chris Ellis who added five points and former ice pro, Mike Heindle, helped the Bullfrogs, who would drop their second game of the day to the Arsenal 5 – 3.
The Arizona Arsenal with the strength of Dan Maxwell on the bench showed immediate results in the win column as they would knock off the Hollywood Dream and then in one of the most exciting games of the afternoon, beat the Bullfrogs 5 – 3 as an empty net goal would seal the game. Chris Fraterrigo would score a hat trick in the game, one of the goals, ESPN highlight quality on the backhand. He would then get his third goal on the empty netter. Both of these teams will meet on December 10th on Rollerhockeytv.net
