Jim Irwin Names Associate Coach and James Will Wear an “A.”
The Anaheim Bullfrogs have named Jim Irwin associate coach for 2011 – 2012. Irwin, who started the Mission Raiders hockey program which has won national titles at NARCh, is a long time ambassador for the sport and a generator of goodwill for those who have played for him and worked with him. Irwin began coaching in 1997 at the Wayne Gretzky roller hockey center of Irvine and hasn’t stopped since. What makes this special is that his son, James, a standout at the “AAA” and platinum level, is now playing for him.
James was named assistant captain on Sunday, August 21st for the Anaheim Bullfrogs. “Jim Irwin is a class act and having his input and help will only make the Bullfrogs an even more successful organization”, Doug Jones commissioner commented.
