Middletown, Pa. – From the National Headquarters of the Professional Inline Hockey Association, newly appointed President, CJ Yoder announced today the leagues 2010/2011 timeline which is as follows:
3 Sep 2010 – Start of the Regular Season
16 Jan 2011 – End of the Regular Season
22 or 23 Jan 2011 – Division Semi-Finals @ Highest Seed (Best of 3)
29 or 30 Jan 2011 – Division Finals @ Highest Seed (Best of 3)
5 & 6 Feb 2011 – Eastern & Western Conference Finals @ (TBD) (Best of 5)
25, 26 & 27 Feb 2011 – League Finals @ Tour Arena, Colorado Springs, Co. (Best of 7)
Aug 2011 – PIHA 2011 Draft @ State Wars Finals
Yoder also announced that due to new privately owned organizations and league owned, General Manager run organizations, the league will be expanding to minimum of four divisions in two conferences. CJ continued to say that again this year there will be four levels of play; Pro, Minor, Master and Women along with affiliations with other organizations for youth levels. “We are happy with our growth and extremely excited about the individuals that will become involved with the PIHA because of that growth. If there is one thing that we have learned in our ten years of running this league it’s that it is not the quantity but the quality that counts,” states Yoder!
