The Green & Gold of the Typhoon look to return to the glory days of winning seasons and championships. The Pa Typhoon is the only three-time PIHA Founders Cup Champions in the league and are looking for more. Two key former players and the return of its core group should make the Typhoon a team to watch.
Former Typhoon forward Brian Yingling, a seven-time PIHA scoring leader and five-time Founders Cup winner along with former Typhoon goaltender Mitchell Reinhold, who is a 2010 NCRHA National Champion, will bring excitement and a winning attitude to the organization.
Open tryouts for the Green & Gold Pro and Minor teams will be held on Sunday July 18th, 2010 from 1:30pm to 4:00pm at the Susquehanna Sports Center in Lemoyne, Pa. Check-in will begin at 1:30pm and the cost for the tryout will be $50.00 per player. At the end of the open tryout selected players will be invited to the Typhoon training camp which will be held Tuesday, July 20th & Wednesday, July 21st.
