Colorado Springs, Colo. — The Thunderdome is getting a new name. Tour Arena, the home of the 2010 PIHA Champion Colorado Springs Thunder, recently changed its name to the Comcast Entertainment Television (CET) Sports Arena.
“Tour is a well-known inline hockey company, and we will continue our long-standing relationship with them, but we are trying to earn more community awareness of our facility, and just about everyone knows about Comcast. So, renaming the arena just made the best long-term sense,” said Thunder owner CJ Yoder.
The arena, one of the premiere inline hockey facilities in the country, houses the recently renovated the ISPN Zone bar and restaurant, and the pro shop, newly named Bill’s Hockey Shop, is in the process of being upgraded to provide even better hockey products and services.
Available throughout Colorado’s Front Range region, CET carries more than 75 inline hockey games per year showcasing a variety of talent from youth to professional programming. For more information on this partnership please go to http://www.sihahockey.com/CetArena/cet_arena.html.
